Both of these guys are young and super talented, but if this fight goes to the ground, Andre 'Touchy' Fili (13-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) has a huge advantage, oh.. He also has a pretty big advantage on the feet as well, so Max Holloway (8-3 MMA, 4-3 UFC) better bring his A game. Fili has shown impressive hands and kicks in his MMA career so far, and dominated Jeremy Larson (8-5 MMA, 0-3 UFC) in his UFC debut, winning via TKO after just 53 seconds of the second round. His opponent Max Holloway has shown great promise. He started his UFC career with a submission loss to Dustin Poirier, he did take that fight on short notice, however. He rebounded from that loss with a three fight winning streak, he then lost two in a row but in his last time out he looked better than ever, stopping Will Chope (19-6 MMA, 0-1 UFC) in the second round. I expect Fili to hurt Holloway badly on the feet then finish the youngster off on the ground.

These guys are competing in the most talent rich division in MMA right now, and they are both out to prove a point. Jim Miller (23-4 (1) MMA, 12-3 (1) UFC) is coming off an impressive submission victory over FabricĂo Camoes (14-8-1 MMA, 1-3-1 UFC) whilst his opponent who is coming in on short notice for this fight recently tested positive for Marijuana at UFC Fight For The Troops 3. He originally defeated veteran Yves Edwards (42-20(1) MMA, 9-8 (1) UFC) via KO in round 1 but the result was changed to a No Contest. Yancy Medeiros (9-1 (1) MMA, 0-1 (1) UFC) was riding a nine fight winning streak until he made his UFC debut in which his lost via a thumb injury. He then got back to winning ways with his KO of Edwards, only to fail his drug test. The UFC is hard on fighters who fail drug tests, and I think if Medeiros loses this fight, he gets released from the promotion. Both guys are in a strange position right now so this fight should be one where nobody gives up and they both keep fighting until the very end.

In this fight there is two very different styles. There is Luke Rockhold (11-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) who likes to be immaculate, he likes to get in there, land shots and avoid his opponents shots, and then there is Tim Boetsch (17-6 MMA, 8-4 UFC), he likes to scrap and he likes to use his wrestling to grind out victories and is often involved in tiring wars. Boetsch doesn't mind getting hit and will prove a stern test for Luke Rockhold
on Fight Night. Both these guys are looking for a shot at the title and this fight will prove to be a tough test for both guys. This should be a very close and intense fight and will really test both guys cardio and both guys chin.

Phil Davis vs. Anthony Johnson
This fight is so important in so many ways for so many different people. It is the return of Anthony Johnson (16-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) who is looking to make a statement and make a run for the title after having some serious weight issues in his previous UFC run, Johnson moved up to Light Heavyweight and now looks better than ever, and at UFC 172 he will try and stop Phil Davis' (12-1 (1) MMA, 8-1 (1) UFC) current 3 fight win streak. Davis is coming off of a very controversial decision win over Lyoto Machida, many people thought the judges had made an error and Dana White agreed saying "The judges f*cked up that fight, you should never leave it to the judges". Davis will want to erase any question in in MMA fans minds and defeat Anthony Johnson decisively. This fight should be really interesting and could decide the next contender to Jon Jones' title.

The Main Event of the evening should be a very intense battle with Champion Jon Jones (19-1 MMA, 13-1 UFC) trying to keep his range and land his dangerous kicks and elbows, whilst his Brazilian opponent Glover Texeira (22-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) will be trying to get inside and land bombs and maybe even shoot for the occasional take-down on the Champion who was taken down for the first time in his MMA career last time out against a formidable Alexander Gustafsson (16-2 MMA, 8-2 UFC). Jones will be looking to cement his position on top of the division after his toughest test to date. Gustafsson landed hard shots on Jones and was the first man to really put Jon Jones in any kind of trouble. Texeira fought Ryan Bader (16-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC) last time out and was rocked badly in that fight, he did manage to counter Bader's aggression though and got the TKO victory. Glover was not happy with his performance because he was hurt so badly. Glover needs to be more careful with his striking because if Jones catches him, the fight could be over very quickly. Jones will have to be wary of Glovers wrestling, he has a lot of strength and very good wrestling and could take Jones down, and if you're Jones, you do not want a guy like Glover on top of you. Glover has excellent submissions and has dynamite in his hands so Jones can not blink! Jones brings a huge reach advantage and the ability to cut Glover open with just one elbow, he possesses great wrestling himself and will want to land hard kicks to keep Glover on the outside, and if he can do that, he will win this fight.
