UFC On FOX 11 Round-By-Round Coverage

As promised, there will be full round-by-round coverage of the UFC On FOX 11 event which is set to take place tonight in Orlando, Florida, we hope you enjoy, fight fans.

Main Card

Brad Tavares vs. Yoel Romero
Round 1: We are underway for the first fight on the main card and it is Tavares who pushes forward first, he lands a nice right hand. Nice knee by Romero. They both land kicks, both of these guys look very relaxed early on but every strike is hard. Big shots by Romero, he hurt Tavares, big flying knee and he throws Brad Tavares onto his back, Tavares has him against the cage now though. It looks like Brad Tavares is bleeding, he is out of the nose. WOAH! Romero just picks Tavares up and dumps his on his back, that was a nasty take down. Romero has Tavares' back, he does not want to get tossed again. Straight away you can see a huge advantage in strength and it is in favour of Yoel Romero, and he throws Brad Tavares again. Tavares getting up very well but he cant stay up, Romero has his back and will not let go, they trade and Tavares hurt Romero, Romero comes in and gets the take-down. Yoel Romero looking for a Kimura, he almost had it, he is still looking for it, no luck. Round 1: Yoel Romero 10/9. 

Round 2: Tavares' coach telling his other coach that he wants the doctor, Doc says its okay. We start round two, Romero very sweaty breathing quite heavily but he throws Tavares to the ground again. Romero keeps attacking the arms of Tavares with the Kimura, Tavares reverses him and gets back up, nice combo by Tavares! Big right hand by Tavares lands. Huge counter elbow by Romero and it drops Brad Tavares and Tavares is cut pretty badly, he is bleeding a lot from the side of his head. Tavares has stopped charging in now, that elbow hurt him. Yoel Romero pushes him up against the fence and is looking for the take-down, doesn't get it but he lands a hard left and right combo. For a man of 36 years old, Romero is a gifted athlete. Once again Romero looking for the Kimura, he had it momentarily but it is reversed and they are back to their feet. Big flying knee by Tavares and he lands a right hand, didn't seem to faze Romero though. Round 2: Yoel Romero 10/9. 

Round 3: Tavares' corner saying "That's all he's gonna do, he's only gonna wrestle you" Well, we all know that, but how do you stop it? Just seen the replay of the elbow Romero landed, it was vicious, right on the temple of Tavares. Round 3 is underway! Tavares throws a high kick, front leg side kick to the leg by Romero. Tavares shoots in for the take-down now but it is stuffed, he eats a couple of knees for his trouble. They break from the clinch and Tavares lands a nice left hook, seemed to stun Yoel. Nice elbow landed by Tavares. Tavares' leg kicks are landing well here. Nice combo and a high kick which was blocked by Brad Tavares. Yoel Romero has a  75% success rate with his significant strikes tonight, that is impressive. Another big take-down and Tavares may have trouble breathing here, They clinch against the fence. Knee's to the legs by Romero in the clinch but the referee splits them up. Nice inside leg kick by Brad Tavares, they are kanding really well for him. Tavares tries with a wheel kick but he misses. Big take-down by Romero. Round 3: Romero 10/9.

Donald Cerrone vs. Edson Barboza
Round 1: We are underway! This is my pick for fight of the night! Donald got caught and he is rocked, take-down by Cerrone. Barboza back up. Barboza opening up here! Nice leg kick lands for Donald. Its pretty clear that Barboza doesn't fight well backing up and Cerrone is trying to make him do that. Nice shots by Barboza again. Big left hand and body kick by Edson. Edson is landing that right hand at will. Huge right hand by Barboza and he may of rocked Cerrone again. Spinning back kick, Cerrone's body is hurt, he is tensing up his body! Cerrone's body is hurt badly. Cerrone lands a jab and drops Barboza, Rear Naked Choke! DONALD CERRONE DROPS BARBOZA WITH A CRAZY JAB AND FINISHES HIM WITH THE REAR NAKED CHOKE, YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE THIS, WHAT A FINISH, BARBOZA GOT DROPPED AND CERRONE LOCKS IN A TIGHT REAR NAKED CHOKE, IT IS ALL OVER!!!!!

Miesha Tate vs. Liz Carmouche
Round 1: Her Dean is our referee, we are underway in the Co-Main Event of the evening. Leg kick by Tate early. Front kick lands for Liz. They both land nice right hands, and a body kick for Liz. Superman punch misses for Miesha. Knee to the body by Miesha and Liz clinches, reversal by Miesha and she has Carmouche on the fence now. A reversal for Carmouche now and she shoots and gets the take down. Tate landing hard elbows on the bottom. Nice right by Carmouche but Tate is up, Liz has her back though. Carmouche has her back and is landing hard knees to the thigh, Liz looks for the take-down, no luck yet. Carmouche shoots down again and this time gets the take-down, Tate trying to use the fence to get up, and she does. Miesha Tate is looking for a kimura, Carmouche may be in trouble, no, she's out. Tate looking for the kimura again but Liz flips her and she lets go. Round 1: Liz Carmouche 10/9. 

Round 2: Carmouche's coach said "The judges are funny around here", good point, its true. Miesha coming forward here, nice jab by her. Liz goes for the take down and Miesha is looking for a guillotine. Reversed by Carmouche and she has Miesha against the fence. A reversal by Miesha now and she is looking for the take-down herself now. Great take-down defense by Liz Carmouche. Uppercut missed by Miesha. Miesha misses with the head kick now and Carmouche clinches up. Another big take-down for Liz Carmouche but Miesha is landing hard elbows and gets right back up, gives up her back though. Liz picks her up and dumps her down, another big take-down. This fight is slowly drifting away from Miesha Tate, 2:00 minutes left in the second round. Miesha may look for the guillotine, she does, couldn't get it but she is up. She has a standing guillotine, Carmouche may be in trouble here, Miesha may pull guard. She did! She pulled guard, she is trying to submit Liz Carmouche, Carmouche in big trouble. Tate lets it go but she is landing hard knees in the clinch. Round 2: Liz Carmouche 10/9. 

Round 3: We are underway for round 3 and Tate is two round down in my books. Big combo by Miesha, Miesha clinches up against the fence. Tate looking for the take-down. Big elbows by Carmouche but Tate gets the take-down, Liz is up, and back down. Miesha Tate has side control and she may try to get the mounted crucifix. It looks like Miesha may be looking for a kimura. Big hammer fists by Tate on top but only a couple of them land. Tate has her back! Miesha Tate looking to lock in the rear naked choke against Liz Carmouche, she may have it! Tate trying to finish. She's got the face crank! She cannot get it under the chin but she is chipping away with shots! Carmouche trying to defend herself. Tate has the face crank again but she lets it go again, she can't finish with that! She is going for it again. one and a half minutes left. Tate flattens out Carmouche. She has the choke, Miesha Tate trying to stop Carmouche, can she escape, she may go out. Carmouche is in trouble. Carmouche is out but Tate still looking for it. Miesha Tate looking for the armbar but no luck, what a fight. Round 3: Miesha Tate 10/8.

Fabricio Werdum vs. Travis Browne
Round 1: They touch gloves and we are underway! Browne takes the centre of the octagon, leg kick by Browne lands. Head kick by Browne blocked. Nice shots by Werdum and they clinch, Browne pulls away. Big shots by Travis and Werdum is hurt. Werdum is the first ever fighter to take Travis Browne down. Browne has got to be very careful of Werdum's ground game. Werdum is trying to get an arm triangle, Travis is using the fence to get up but it is not working. They are up. Nice kicks by Browne. Big knee by Browne. Uppercut missed for Browne. Big body kick by Werdum and a left hook to the body. Werdum is landing hard shots. Leg kick by Werdum. Spinning kick by Browne and he stunned Fabricio. Huge uppercut by Werdum! Round 1: Fabricio Werdum 10/9. 

Round 2: We start round 2 and both men take the centre. Werdum  lands a kick but it is low, they start again. Body kick by Werdum. Head kick by Browne. Another take-down by Werdum and he has Browne's back with one hook in, Travis could be in some trouble here. Face crank by Werdum and Browne turns over, Werdum on top again. Werdum passes into side control and Browne is in a very bad spot here. Werdum attacking the right arm of Travis Browne. Big elbows by Werdum from side control. Big hammer fists now for Werdum. Werdum looking for a kimura, he may get it here. Werdum didn't get it. Browne back up but he's tired. Big right by Travis. Nice right again by Travis. Round 2: Fabricio Werdum 10/9. 

Round 3: Browne with his hands on his hips before the round. Huge combo by Werdum, wow! Werdum is beating Travis on the feet! Big right again by Werdum. Browne pushes Werdum down and Werdum is loving this. They clinch against the fence. Nice left by Browne. Werdum is teeing off and Browne is in trouble! He moves away. Another take-down and Browne looks for his trademark elbows. Travis misses with a  uppercut. Spinning back fist lands for Fabricio. Flying knee to the face of Browne, didn't seem to faze him. Hard body kick by Werdum. Werdum looking at the floor trying to set Browne up. Round 3: Fabricio Werdum 10/9. 

Round 4: They stand very close to eachother. Double jab by Werdum. Browne looks like he has had a little rest, looks like he has more gas. Werdum is goading Browne. Browne threw an oblique kick and Fabricio bowed at him... Nice right by Travis and a body kick that goes low. We start again. Huge right hand by Travis and he may of hurt Werdum who goes for the take-down. Push kick by Werdum. Big right by Werdum. Big right again by Travis but it doesn't seem to be affecting Werdum. This has been a better round for Browne. Round 4: Travis Browne 10/9. 

Round 5: We have never seen Browne dominated like this, in the striking as well. Stiff jab from Browne. Browne with his hands down. Big right hand by Werdum, and again! Hard leg kick by Browne. Take-down attempt by Werdum is stuffed by Browne. Triple jab and a big right by Werdum! Fabricio Werdum is lighting Travis Browne up! Werdum is landing the big right hand every time he throws it! Werdum explodes! Hard leg kick by Browne. Browne's face is busted up! Browne pointed at the floor and Werdum smiled and pointed and the sky. Big right by Werdum and Browne's face is covered in blood! Browne telegraphed the wheel kick and it was blocked. Big uppercut by Browne and a knee but the final bell sounds!  Round 5: Travis Browne 10/9.
