Hello Junior Fight Fans, I know this news is a little bit late but I thought I'd let you all know the situation.
So basically, Dana White has scrapped the Knockout Of The Night and Submission Of The Night bonuses, they have added two bonuses called Performance of The Night, two fighters will get this award, it doesn't matter if they win or lose they can win the award if they put on a good performance. Fight Of The Night still stands and that of course goes to the two fighters who put on the best fight. The same amount of money that went to the winner of Knockout and Submission of the night will go to the fighters that win Performance Of The Night.
The first event to take place since these rules were put in place was UFC Fight Night 36: Machida vs. Mousasi. The three fighters that earned awards were as follow:
Performance Of The Night: Charles Oliviera
Performance Of The Night: Erick Silva
Fight Of The Night: Lyoto Machida vs. Gegard Mousasi
