Main Card


Dustin Poirier vs. Akira Corassani
Round 1: We start the main card and a big swing for Akira straight away, another one and it lands. Akira is landing here. Straight left for Dustin and a leg kick. They trade and both men land. Corassani swinging bombs early. Nice jab for Poirier, and again. Big body shot for Akira. Nice left hook by Akira and he dropped Dustin Poirier, he is back up but does still look wobbly. Leg kick by Poirier. Overhand right by Akira lands. Straight left by Poirier and he hurts Corassani, he rushes in and gets caught himself. Huge shots by both guys and Corassani lands a big right! Akira goes for the takedown and Poirier is looking for the D'arce, Corassani could be in trouble, he's looking for a Peruvian neck tie. Akira Corassani is in trouble, Poirier with a peruvian neck tie, Corassani shows real heart and he is out. Round 1: Poirier 10/9. 

Round 2: We are underway for the second round. Nice combo by Poirier. Big left and uppercut and Akira is in trouble, IT IS ALL OVER. Dustin Poirier finishes Akira Corassani with strikes in round 2, great performance by Poirier.

Chad Laprise vs. Olivier Aubin Mercier
Round 1: They touch gloves, head kick by Mercier is blocked. Two leg kicks by Laprise. Nice left hook by Laprise and he blocks a kick. Hard inside leg kick by Laprise and another. Mercier shoots in for a take down but Laprise stops it. Laprise is cut under his left eye. Another hard kick by Mercier hits the arms of Laprise. Right hook lands for Mercier. Mercier goes for the take down and eats an uppercut. Laprise attacks and they clinch, Laprise gets away. Hard body kick by Aubin Mercier. Nice straight left from Mercier lands. Round 1: Olivier Aubin Mercier 10/9. 

Round 2: Mercier swing big, he throws a high kick. Mercier looking for the take down, good defense by Laprise, he can't stop the take down though. Laprise reverses the guillotine and they stand up again, big body shot from Laprise. Overhand left lands for Mercier. Two high kicks thrown by Mercier, both blocked. Mercier is really starting to open up with his shots. Nice body kick and Laprise may be hurt, Laprise fires back with a right hand to the body. Inside leg kick lands for Laprise. Nice uppercut for Laprise, they trade a few shots. Big right hand snaps Merciers head back, it doesn't look like he is hurt. They trade again, Mercier very confident in his striking. Head kick thrown by Laprise is blocked well. Mercier with a right hook, body kick by Laprise. Round 2: Chad Laprise 10/9. 

Round 3: They touch and Laprise lands a nice right hand. Mercier looking for a take down, he can't get it. Mercier has showed improved striking and a very good chin, he lands a big take down. Laprise is up but Mercier has his back, this is a dangerous position, he is out. It looks like Laprise is starting to tire a little bit now. Hard body kick by Mercier and Laprise may be hurt. Big right partially blocked by Mercier. Big left hand by Laprise and Mercier dropped for the take down. Laprise caught the caught and kicked out Mercier's other leg, he lets him up. Big uppercut lands for Mercier. Big right hand for Laprise is blocked. Another hard body kick from Mercier. He lands a head kick! And now another body kick. Big uppercut then a knee to the face by Laprise, and a spinning back kick. Another spinning back kick but it misses this time. Round 3: Chad Laprise 10/9.

Sheldon Wescott vs. Elias Theodorou
Round 1: Wescott looks pumped, he takes the centre and starts swinging, wow! Big take down for Sheldon Wescott. He has the back of Elias and has both hooks in. Wescott has the face crank, he lets it go. Sheldon looking for a rear naked choke, no luck yet. Sheldon Wescott dropped off his back onto the floow and Elias lands some hard shots. Big knee from Theodorou, and again, and again, Wescott may be hurt, he is looking for the take down. Theodorou landing hard elbows with his back against the fence, Wescott drops to guard and is taking hard leg kicks, the ref stands them up. Nice body kick by Elias, they trade. Wescott looks tired, nice leg kick for Theodorou, and he lands it again. Nice jab by Elias. Round 1: Elias Theodorou 10/9. 

Round 2: Wescott comes out and eats a right hands, he is ploughing forward. Big body kick by Elias, Elias has the back, Wescott's gas tank is empty. Big take down by Elias Theodorou, Wescott back up but he gets put back on his ass. Wescott now in on the take down, he gets it. Theodorou gets back to his feet and lands a take down of his own. Big shots from Theodorou on top, he moves away and the ref stands Wescott up. Big left hand by Elias, he is teeing off, Wescott is tired, a huge take down by Theodorou, Wescott is in big trouble here. Theodorou standing over Wescott land hard shots, he has the back of Sheldon Wescott. Side control for Theodorou and he lands a vicious elbow, he mounts Wescott and Sheldon Wescott gives up his back. Big shots on top by Theodorou. Nice escape by Wescott and Theodorou now has half guard. Big hammer fist and a big elbow by Theodorou, he is punishing Wescott. Huge elbows again and Wescott is hurt, big right hand, Theodorou dropping bombs on Wescott and IT IS ALL OVER, Elias Theodorou is the Ultimate Fighter Nations Finale Winner, he secures a six figure UFC contract.

Patrick Cote vs. Kyle Noke
Round 1: They touch gloves and we are underway! Push kick by Noke early. He goes with the front kick to the body now. Inside leg kick by Noke, bit right by Cote. They clinch, Cote with his back against the fence. They break and Cote misses with an elbow. Cote trying to keep the distance with the front kick but he gets caught with a right hand. Noke is cut, big take down by Patrick Cote, Noke looking for a guillotine, didn't get it. Big elbow by Cote, Noke may be looking for an armbar here. Huge elbow lands for Cote on top. Noke went for an armbar from guard, Cote was well out of there. Nice triangle attempt for Noke, Cote just avoided it. Big shots from Cote, big elbows and punches. Another big right hand! Round 1: Patrick Cote 10/9.

Round 2: Noke throws the kick and slips, he's back up before Cote can capitalize. Huge knee for Noke, Cote is hurt, he is in big trouble, Cote is hurt. Kyle Noke is teeing off, Cote seems to be recovered. It looks like Cote is cut. Front kick by Noke is blocked well by Cote. Cote looking for the take down and he gets it, he is in the guard. Noke swinging his legs up looking for the armbar, huge elbows by Cote. Noke trying to use the cage to stand up. Big knee to the body by Cote and Noke is hurt. Front kick by Noke just missed. Round 2: Patrick Cote 10/9. 

Round 3: We are underway in round 3 and Noke already throwing kicks about. Noke looking for that knee again, didn't land that time. Front leg side kick again by Kyle Noke. Oblique kick from Noke. This fight has been pretty high paced since the start and nobody is slowing down yet. Nice combo by Cote and he looks fr the take down against the cage. Big head kick grazes Cote's head. Nice jab from Noke, Cote taking the centre of the octagon. Hard Front leg side kick to the leg of Patrick Cote. Cote catches the leg kick and takes Kyle Noke down, he is in the guard of Noke again. Cote looking to pass, and he does to side control. Nice escape from Noke, Cote back in the guard. Big elbow lands on the forehead of Kyle Noke and he is cut open.  Noke using the fence to try and stand up. He is on one knee, Cote looking for the take down again against the face. Round 3: Patrick Cote 10/9.

Michael Bisping vs. Tim Kennedy
Round 1: We are underway! Bisping taking the centre of the octagon early. Kennedy looking for the take down, Bisping doing a good job of staying on his feet. Kennedy does get it now. Half guard for Kennedy. Kennedy with a right hand but it is blocked. Kennedy is looking for the mount. Bisping is almost up, Kennedy doing a good job of keeping Bisping down. Kennedy has Bispings back. Bisping back up, and back down. Kennedy almost in the mount. Nice left hand from Kennedy on top. Bisping keeps looking for the kimura. Kennedy mounts Bisping. Bisping gives up his back, Kennedy looking for the choke. Half guard for Kennedy and he is looking to move to the mount again. Round 1: Kennedy 10/9. 

Round 2: We start round two and Bisping takes the centre and lands a nice kick. Kennedy misses with a right hand. Head kick just missed for Bisping. Nice jab from Bisping. Big right by Kennedy, he throws the head kick. Nice right by Bisping, Kennedy goes for a take down, Bisping out the way. Big combo from Bisping. Kennedy looking for the take down again, Bisping stopping it up until now, he stops it! Flying knee from Bisping glances Kennedy. Nice right for Bisping. Counter jab for Bisping. Nice combo by Michael Bisping lands again. Nice left hook lands hard for Bisping. Nice right lands for Kennedy. Jab for Bisping a nice combo by Bisping.  Round 2: Michael Bisping 10/9. 

Round 3: Right hand misses for Kennedy. Nice double jab and a right hand by Bisping. Kennedy lands a right and he then gets the take down. Bisping is attacking with a kimura again. Kennedy not mounting any offence on top. Kennedy passes to side control. Nice shots by Kennedy, Bisping still trying to get back to his feet, so far unsuccessful. Bisping may have the kimura, Kennedy is out. Hard right to the body from Kennedy on top. Kennedy mounts Bisping again. Huge elbow by Kennedy on top. Bisping using the fence to try and get up. Nice escape from Bisping bt Kennedy works back to side control.  Round 3: Tim Kennedy 10/9. 

Round 4: Kennedy misses a looping right. Stiff jab from Bisping. Kennedy looking for the take down again, good defence by Bisping, Kennedy has Bisping's back. Bisping is out, the are back in the centre of the octagon. Kennedy looks exhausted. Both guys land hard right hands. Nice right by Bisping. Big right hook by Kennedy may of hurt Bisping, Kennedy looks for the take down, Bisping stuffs it and he does. Jab by Bisping. Big left hook by Kennedy. Big left hook staggered Kennedy. Massive right hand and Bisping may be hurt. Head kick is blocked by Kennedy. Big right by Bisping.  Round 4: Tim Kennedy 10/9. 

Round 5: Both guys land jabs. Massive right by Kennedy, may of hurt Bisping. Nice combo by Bisping. Kennedy gets the take down. Bisping trying to get back up, he does, he gets thrown right back though. Kennedy using the lay and pray tactic against Bisping because he knows Bisping is a better overall fighter. Bisping cannot get Tim Kennedy off of him and this fight is clearly with Tim Kennedy. Yves Lavigne stands them up. Bisping not landing anything on the feet, this fight is already won. The only place Bisping would have knockout power is in a lower weight division. 1 Minute left and nothing is happening, nice right from Kennedy. Kennedy tired and staying on the outside having a rest.  Round 5: Michael Bisping 10/9.
