Main Card

Chris Cariaso vs. Louis Smolka 
Round 1: We are under way on the main card and the fighters touch gloves. Kick early by Cariaso, Smolka fires back. Both guys throwing kicks early. They clinch and Smolka may be looking for a take down. Smolka is a lot taller and longer in this fight, that may be why Cariaso is using so many kicks. Knees to the legs in the clinch by Smolka. Good knees by Cariaso to the body in the clinch now. Smolka tried to throw Cariaso but Cariaso stopped it. Nice reversal by Cariaso and he lands a nice elbow. They break and they both throw a kick. Nice kick by Cariaso. They clinch against the fence again, initiated by Smolka. Nice body shots by Smolka in the clinch. Smolka looking for the single leg. Cariaso looking for the guillotine, good counter by Smolka and he is out. Round 1: Louis Smolka 10/9. 

Round 2: Big body kick by Smolka but Cariaso swarms him and may of hurt him. Cariaso takes Smolka's back! He has both hooks in, may look for a face crank. Smolka reverses and is now on top. Smolka in guard but not landing much here. Cariaso looking for an armbar, Smolka is out! They are back up. Nice knees by Smolka in the clinch. Its Cariaso looking for the throw this time, he didn't get it though. Nice take down by Cariaso, he used the outside trip. Looks like Louis Smolka is trying to set up a triangle. Big kene by Cariaso grazes Smolka's face. Big combo by Cariaso and he hurt Smolka who may be tired here, his movement is very sloppy. Smolka now in on the take down, he gets it but Cariaso looking for the guillotine Cariaso has the ninja choke!!! That was tight!!! Round 2: Chris Cariaso 10/9.  

Round 3: They touch ahead of round 3 and Smolka throws an early kick. Hard leg kick lands by Cariaso and he is really mixing his kicks and punches up in this fight. Hard kick by Smolka who then misses with the knee. Inside leg kick lands again for Chris Cariaso. Outside leg kick lands this time. Trip for Smoka and he is on top, in the guard looking to pass. Cariaso looking to use the cage to help him get back to his feet. Cariaso almost had an Omoplata, reversed and Smolka is in the full mount. Big elbow lands for Smolka. Smolka escapes another Omoplata and his submission defence is really showing through in this fight, he os demonstrating excellent escapes. Knees in the clinch and a big take down by Smolka. They're back up and Smolka clinches. They break and Smolka is greeted with a right hand. Leg kick by Cariaso drops Smolka, he is right back up. Hard shots by Smolka and Cariaso telegraphing the leg kick. Nice take down by Chris Cariaso to finish the round and the fight! Round 3: Chris Cariaso 10/9.

Soa Palelei vs. Ruan Potts
Round 1: We are under way, Potts throwing some kicks early. Big take down by Soa, he moves right into side control. Potts has a guillotine and Soa looks like he is in some pain. Potts drops on a guillotine again but lets it go. Elbows from the bottom from Potts. Potts may be able to get a triangle, Palelei is out. Palelei mounts Potts and he is out! I didn't even see the punch but Soa Palelei knocks out Ruan Potts.

Neil Magny vs. Tim Means
Round 1: This should be a very interesting fight, Means takes the centre. Leg kick by Magny. Good head movement by Neil Magny, he is always moving. Nice straight left lands for Means. Magny starting to open up a little bit more now. Magny staying on the outside, trying to utilise his 81' reach. Nice knee to the body lands for Means. They clinch against the fence, Means pushes off and they break. Magny gets the trip in the clinch and he is in the mount, Means is back up though. Means looking up at the clock here. Nice combo lands for Magny. Spinning back fist stuns Magny. Big shot by Magny and he drops Means, Means is back up but Magny looking for the take down. Round 1: Neil Magny 10/9. 

Round 2: Magny staying on the outside again, he lands an inside leg kick. Flying knee attempt for Means misses. Big elbow lands for Means, Magny looks okay. Magny eats a body kick. Means looking to counter with that knee. Means has Magny's back, looking to get the hooks in. Knees landing for Tim Means. Front leg side kick to the body lands by Means. Neil Magny gets the take down, Means is right back up.Round 2: Neil Magny 10/9. 

Round 3: We start the third and final round, they touch and its Magny who pushes the pace. Nice right hand grazes the head of Tim Means. Means with a huge knee, Magny may be in trouble, he circles away and he looks okay. NINJA CHOKE AGAIN!!! Great escape from Neil Magny. Knee in the clinch by Magny. Another take down from Neil Magny. Mount for Neil Magny! He now has the back mount. Means struggling to get up. Round 3: Neil Magny 10/9.

Erik Koch vs. Daron Cruickshank
Round 1: We start and they touch gloves. Koch pushing the pace early. Nice left by Koch and a right by Daron. Leg kick lands for Koch, flashy kick just misses for Cruickshank. Leg kick lands for Koch again, and he goes high. Body kick is blocked well by Koch. Hard kick by Koch. Nice jab but Cruickshank fires back. Good head movement by Erik Koch, he lands a leg kick. Hard body kick by Cruickshank. Nice right lands flush for Daron. HEAD KICK BY CRUICKSHANK!!! IT IS ALL OVER! DARON CRUICKSHANK UPSETS EVERYBODY AND LANDS A CRAZY HEAD KICK AND HE KNOCKS ERIK KOCH OUT!! I THINK THIS MAY BE THE END OF ERIK KOCH'S SO CALLED "TITLE RUN". CRAZY FIGHT CRAZY FINISH.

Costas Phillipou vs. Lorenz Larkin
Round 1: We are under way! Phillipou coming forward early. Big right by Larkin. Nice shot by Phillipou and he stumbles Larkin. Hard leg kick by Larkin. They clinch, nice knees to the legs by Costas. They break and Phillipou comes forward again. Big shots by Larkin! WOW! Phillipou ate them shots. Big right hand by Phillipou! Larkin fires back, this is a great fight! Body lock for Phillipou against the cage. Hard leg kick by Costas. WOAH! Huge shot by Costas Phillipou and Lorenz Larkin drops right on his head, Keith Peterson steps in before Phillipou can land again and this fight is over!

Matt Brown vs. Erick Silva
Round 1: Erick Silva screaming and slapping himself in the face on his way to the octagon, wow. Matt Brown bouncing and running his way to the octagon, both of these guys are pumped. Herb Dean brings them to the centre and they touch, we are under way! Brown with a kick early, take down by Silva reversed and they stand up. Nice body kick may of stunned Brown, huge body shot and Matt brown is in trouble, he drops, Silva takes the back! WOW. Silva looking for the choke, Brown in trouble, big shots by Silva. Brown's body showed weaknesses in the Jordan Mein fight and it showed again here! Silva has the face crank, Brown in trouble, he may have to tap, Silva lets go. Brown looks like he is in real pain, Silva still has his back. Silva may look for an armbar, no, he lets it go. He has the right arm now though, he may get the choke. Brown is out and he is up, big knees from Brown. Huge shots from Katt Brown, Silva is in trouble, Silva in big trouble, they clnch, HUGE KNEE AND BIG ELBOWS. Silva is tired and hurt. Nice jab by Silva. Brown throws Silva, big knee and Silva is in trouble. Brown throws him down. Kicks to the body of Silva and he gets back up. Big right hand by Brown and he is looking for the finish. Take down by Matt Brown, very close round. Round 1: Erick Silva 10/9. 

Round 2: Two big knees and Silva could be hurt again. Browns body is hurt again. Big uppercut and a kick! What a fight. Huge elbows for Brown. Silva looks tired. Big right by Silva hits the shoulder. Huge shots by Brown, Silva is eating hard shots. Head kick grazed Silva's head. Silva needs to attack the body of Brown. Huge shots by Brown, nice left by Silva and a body kick. HUGE BODY SHOT AND BROWN IS HURT AGAIN, WOW! Big take down for Brown and this is a war, crucifix for Matt Brown. Brown looking for a triangle! He may get it, Brown trying to get the triangle, Silva is out. D'arce choke, Silva in trouble. He mounts him, Silva out, mount for MATT BROWN, THIS IS CRAZY! Brown looking for the arm bar, Silva out but right into the triangle! Silva may have to tap! Silva is out and he is now on top. Brown trying to sweep Silva, this is a gruelling fight. Round 2: Matt Brown 10/9. 

Round 3: Kick early by Brown, big right lands for Brown and he is landing huge knees. Silva may be done... Crane kick by Silva but he is taken down. Silva on his back now with Matt Brown in his guard. Brown trying to pass, big right hand gets through for Brown. Huge right again by Brown! HUGE ELBOWS BY BROWN! SILVA IS CUT! SILVA LOOKING FOR A TRIANGLE. Brown is out, Silva in trouble. IT IS ALL OVER! ERICK SILVA ROLLS OVER AND BASICALLY GIVES UP AND MATT BROWN HAS NOW WON 7 IN A ROW.

After a lot of upsets the main event lived up to expectations and that fight may just be one of the best fights the UFC has ever seen, both guys put on a brilliant performance and they both put their hearts into it, props to both guys. Fight of the night for sure.
