Who should Nick Diaz fight next?

As we all know, Nick Diaz's career is in a crazy place, he apparently wants to fight but according to UFC President Dana White, he has turned down numerous fights.

What is going on inside the head of Nick Diaz, well for now, only he knows. Fans and media alike are spitting out opponents for him to fight next, and I thought I'd join in, so here is who I think Nick Diaz should scrap with next.

Opponents for Nick Diaz's return:

5) Loser of Tyron Woodley vs. Rory MacDonald
Both of these guys are higher in the rankings than Diaz but Diaz has insisted that he will only return if he gets a opponent whom is highly ranked. I think both of these guys are smart matchups because they have good wrestling and pretty good wrestling, while Diaz has excellent hands and pretty good Jui Jitsu. I think this either of these guys could bring Diaz out of 'retirement'.

4) Thiago Alves vs. Seth Baczynski Winner
These guys aren't really high in rankings but if Seth Baczynski beats Thiago Alves he could catapult his way up the division, and with Alves coming off a long layoff, he has to prove that he still has it, and if he does that he may be back into contention, but if he can beat Seth and then beat Nick Diaz, he will be up there, this is why I think Diaz vs the winner of this fight is a suitable matchup.

3) Kelvin Gastelum
Kelvin Gastelum is a tough fighter with a slick submission game and ever improving striking, he has showed off his striking in both all of his UFC fights and his submission skills in one of them. He beat Rick Story last time out and proved that he had good cardio, outlasting Story. Diaz would be an interesting challenge though, there would be so many questions, can Gastelum get inside Diaz's reach, who's better on the ground, can Nick Diaz stop Gastelums takedown attempts, its a pretty close match up and I think it may be a fight that Diaz likes.

2) Dong Hyun Kim
Dong Hyun Kim is a strange guy, he has changed his game a lot over the years and it has seemed to work out, he's now on a 4 fight win streak and has only two losses on his record, one of them was because of an injury and the other a spectacular flying knee.
He has already beaten Diaz's younger brother, Nate, but Nick would be a completely different challenge, he is bigger, stronger and it would be a very competitive fight if they did throw down inside the Octagon.

1) Robbie Lawler vs. Jake Ellenberger loser
Nick Diaz has fought and beaten Robbie Lawler before, but since then both fighters have evolved, Robbie is high up in the rankings and recently lost a close Decision to now champion Johny Hendricks. Ellenberger was on a roll before he lost a Decision to Rory MacDonald. Ellenberger would have the tough task of getting inside Diaz's reach and fire away, something he couldn't do against Rory MacDonald. Lawler would have to be cautious and may even be a little nervous if they fought because Lawler only has 1 KO loss on his record, and that it to Nick Diaz, Lawler would also have to be careful about Diaz's submission game, he has lost by submission 5 times throughout his career, bear in mind one of them was because of an injury.

Those are the guys I think Nick Diaz should fight next, what do you think? Comment below and tell us at MMAJr who you guys think Nick Diaz should fight next.

Thats all from me Fight Fans, so for now, I'm off!
