Rumor: Retired UFC fighter Brian Stann thinking about a return to the UFC, as a fighter

Nothing has been official or confirmed, but retired UFC fighter Brian Stann may be thinking about coming back to fighting according to Fox Sports 1 commentator Jon Anik.  Brian Stann competed in the Middleweight division.

Jon Anik tweeted Thursday night, "My bid to get @kennyflorian back in the Octagon continues to come up short.  Did however make some progress w/ @BrianStann tonight."


Brian Stann retired from MMA last July.  He last fought Wanderlei Silva on March 2nd, 2013 and suffered a round 2 KO/TKO loss.  Before that, he lost to Michael Bisping.

Stann is a veteran who served in the US Military as a Marine.  Since his retirement, he has commentated a couple of UFC events.
