Jason High cut from UFC; Ross Pearson awarded extra $30k after controversial loss to Diego Sanchez

Although UFC President Dana White did not watch last Saturday's fights live, he was not pleased with a couple of things.

One is obvious.  The controversial decision where Diego Sanchez went home with a split-decision victory, leaving Ross Pearson robbed.  White has said that Pearson will continue moving forward as if he won the fight, and will be given an extra $30k, which is what he lost when he was not announced the winner last Saturday at UFC Fight Night 42.

Former UFC Lightweight Jason High was cut from the promotion after pushing the referee following his TKO loss to Rafael dos Anjos.  High's punishment was talked about, people thinking he'd likely be fined by the Athletic Commission or even suspended.  Dana White didn't put much thought into it before he cut High from the promotion.
